"Antikvarijat Brala" bookstore is a family-owned shop which has been operating in antique books business for a quarter of century. It has always been known as a place with great selection of books for those who love the distinctive smell of yellowish pages.
Why you should visit it
The books are mainly in Croatian, so if you're not familiar with the language, they probably won't mean much to you. Still, you can walk into the shop just to take a look around, glancing at the forgotten editions and feeling the echo of times long past.
Special tip
The bookstore is situated inside the so-called Dezmanov prolaz, a street that has been successfully reviving the spirit of old Zagreb.
