Why locals love it
Bundek is lovely lake and park by the Sava River of Zagreb. Beautiful trails, beautiful lakes with swans, peace, quiet and in the very heart of the city. This is second and smalest lake in Zagreb, very nice for spending a few hours walking or siting in some cafe or by the lake. Maybe feeding the swans. Great for families.
Why you should visit it
This is area south of Sava river and you can spend an hour or two walking, enjoying the lake and a park, sitting in one of the lake cafés, or watching your kids play. On weekends the park is usually swarming with people walking circles, having a picnick, barbecue or just stoping for a drink. Local atmosphere, great parks English style.
Special tip
There are few cafes there and a pathway to skate/ride a bike/run and kids playgrounds.
