Located right next to the Sava River, the non-profit club Močvara (which means swamp in English) has been for almost two decades now one of Zagreb’s best places to spend your weekends at, offering from alternative concerts and theater performances to exhibitions and workshops a wide range of activities.

Why you should visit it
The exterior, as well as the interior, are canvases to many of Zagreb’s most popular illustrators and artists, whereas their concert posters, published books and comic strips have been highly recognized and awarded during the past few years.
Special tip
Their Dirty Dancing parties, which are being organized once a month since 2004, are among the city’s best 1980s and 1990s smash hit parties.
