Welcome.

Use the ZET bus number 290.
http://www.zagreb-airport.hr/putnici/do-od-zracne-luke/zet-autobus/430

You can buy a card at the driver.
The price is 15 kuna (about 2 euros) but you can continue to use it for 90 minutes for another city ride. Be careful because you need to have local money, the Croatian Kuna.

If you have any other questions, feel free to contact me.

We hope you have a pleasant stay.

Public transport bus "ZET" (dark blue bus) number 290. You can not reach the heart of the city centre with this bus, but it is tram 5 stations from the main square or 20 min nice walk.
Take the tram number 12 or 11 afterwards.
The bus ticket is 10 kuna (1.5 euro)
The tram ticket is 15 kuna inside the tram (2 euro) or 4 kuna (0.4 euro) at all the newspaper shops, so bought outside the tram.
Bus ticket is valid for 90 mins after validation, and the tram one for 30 miutes.
There is also a 90 minute tram ticket for 10 kuna bought outside.

There are 2 options that will get you from the center to the airport
1. The ZET city bus number 290 (bus timetable http://www.zet.hr/raspored-voznji/325?route_id=290). It leaves from a station next to Kvaternikov trg and the directions to there you can easily find on Google maps.
The drive ia about 30minutes long and all you need is to buy a 4kn bus ticket on any Tisak store or by the bus driver.

2. The Croatia airlines shuttle bus that leaves from the Central Bus Station to the airport. The price is 30kn. The drive is also about 30 minutes long and you can find more information here http://www.zagreb-airport.hr/en/passengers/to-from-the-airport/by-airport-shuttle/89

Another option is to take an Uber. The drive costs 90kn from anywhere in the city and you will arrive there in about 25minutes.

Good luck! :)

You have a bus going every half an hour to the main bus station in Zagreb (it's near the center) - http://www.plesoprijevoz.hr/en/page/timetable
From there you can take the tram no. 6 to the city center.

There is only one bus you can take from the airport and it goes to the central bus station in Zagreb. Then, you need to take streetcar No. 6, which will take you to the main square in the town center. It all very close one to another and they both ride really frequently.

From Zagreb Airport to the bus station, buses run from 07:00 until 20:00. Just ask anyone whi works there, where is bus station for the cebter of the city (Zagreb)
After that, the buses run according to the schedule of take-off and landing of the aircraft.
One way ticket price is 30,00 Kn. Aprox. 4€
The price of a daily two-way ticket is 40,00 Kn. APROX 5€
The ride between the airport and the city takes about 30 minutes.

You have a shuttle bus that takes you to the Bus terminal in Zagreb for 30kn or the ZET city bus no 290 that connects Airport and eastern part of Zagreb city center (Kvaternikov trg). In that case, you'd need two 4kn tickets since the Airport is in the 2nd zone. You get those at Tisak kiosk at the Airport. Also, you need to validate them once you enter the vehicle.
