Iva is amazing!
I'm in love with Zagreb after "Secret Zagreb" tour. It was my first time in Zagreb, first time I decided to book a tour to explore the city - and everything was perfect. I felt like I touched the soul of this place. It's all because of amazing guide Iva. Thank you, Iva!!! The tour is 4 hours, but you won't be tired. You will see main sightseeings and things you cannot know they exist there. It was the best first time in Zagreb for me.
Secret Zagreb Private Walking Tour
Informative and fun!
Iva took me on a wonderful ‘secret’ tour of Zagreb and showed me things that I wouldn’t have been able to find on my own. She also went out of her way to help cater the tour to my tastes and offered help and suggestions for the rest of my stay in Croatia. Definitely book the Secret Walking Tour of Zagreb to really get to know the town!

Fabulous unique walking tour!
Iva is a most enthusiastic and passionate guide. She is a natural storyteller and is skillful at weaving stories that tell the tale of Zagreb's quirks. She was extremely flexible when I needed to reschedule multiple times and her walk took us on parts of the city we'd never have found on our own. Highly recommend!!

Creative city guide with coffee culture
Josipa has shown us Zagreb with coffee culture. As showing us the most well known points from Zagreb, she has embedded her understanding as well as the legends. Also all our Qs have been answered very well. The tips for tours and restaurants/cafe r awesome! Would like to come and visit Zagreb again.

Definitely pleasant Tour!
Josipa is a lovely person and all her interesting, historical stories about the places made us really connect to the city. Also we got a basic orientation and lots of useful tips for our further stay.
The coffee was good as well and we really recommend the tour!

Different perspective of Zagreb
We really enjoyed this trip with wonderful and easy going tour guide Iva Silla. She is very passionate about showing us around Novi Zagreb. An eye opener and we don't regret a bit walking thru the neighborhood of Novi Zagreb. Such a wonderful experience!

Outstanding Day Trip
Marko was phenomenal. Prompt, open to input on what I wanted out of the day. Friendly, knowledgable...enriched the trip to Istria.

Josipa is an incredibly nice and down to earth guide that clearly loves her city and those that share an interest in learning more about the history and culture of it
Coffee Pleasure Walking Tour in Zagreb
Excellent tour!
We cannot recommend this tour highly enough. Josipa was an excellent host. She took us to a great coffee roastery where we had different coffees or teas to chose from. The staff at the roastery were friendly, welcoming and wanting to talk about their craft. After sitting to have our drinks at the coffee cafe we chatted with Josipa, getting to know each other this way made the tour of Zagreb that came next feel like an old friend was showing us around. If you want an authentic tour this is the one. We did this tour with our teenage children and they said it was the highlight of our brief time in Zagreb. My husband and children are the coffee drinkers and I love tea. The coffee shop had a 'made for them tea blend' for an iced tea that was remarkably outstanding. Josipa is friendly and did an excellent job showing us the highlights of Zagreb. She recommended a great restaurant that serves traditional Zagreb food. When our tour was over it was hard to say good bye to our new friend.

First - Zagreb is by far my favourite city in the world now, it beats all 'big' ones such as London, Paris, Barcelona, Berlin... I found it cosy, friendly, non-agressive towards tourists/foreigners, comforting, and sooo interesting ! It gave me the feeling I was 'at home'. Then, to make it even better, I met Iva and did the amazing Zagrebarium tour with her! I still remember almost everything she told me about - it was so vivid, so passionately told, and with just the exact amount of detail, not boring but leaving me enthusiastic about getting to know more about Croatia, its scientists and its secrets, still unveiled... I also got some chocolate as a gift!! Loved it, loved it, loved it! Thank you Iva, and this was ONLY the first time we meet, I am definitely coming to Zagreb and to do the Zagrebarium and also the Ghost tours again!

Great Tour; Not to be Missed
Having visited Zagreb a few times in the past, I thought I had seen and knew almost everything this city could offer a tourist. Was I ever wrong! Secret Zagreb opened an entirely new window onto the city, its history and legends. Secret Zagreb was a revelation. The guide was absolutely excellent, spoke English extremely well and was a font of knowledge; easily surpassing any good travel guide you can buy. If you’ve never been to Zagreb before or if you have visited a few times, I would highly recommend this extraordinary tour through the city. I can assure you that you will not only have a great time but lots of fun. I’ve since been on two of the tour offerings and hope to have enough time here to go on a third or fourth. Leave your Rick Stevens and Lonely Planet tour books in your hotel room and step out for a real adventure!

Iva Silla provided a superb tour of Zagreb, perfect agenda about 3 hours in the Upper Town and 1 hour in the Lower Town. We hit all the tourist highlights; she also exposed several interesting features of the inner city not sited in the guide books. She addressed all questions about all issues and painted a understandable and clear picture of Zagreb under socialism, in the 90’s, and now. She was extremely accommodating. When she saw my interest in buying a commiserative coffee cup, she steered me to stores that were less expensive and had a wider selection. As she saw my hands were full of camera equipment, she immediately volunteered to carry my coffee cup. Can’t say enough about this charming young lady. If you’re in the Zagreb area, retain Iva to enhance your efficiency and effectiveness of learning and seeing Zagreb.

The anecdotes of Zagreb with Josipa!
Starting off with an excellent coffee, it was a great way to get to know Zagreb. Josipa was a fountain of knowledge about her city. not only did we get to know about the current Zagrebian culture, like meeting at Spiza, but also the history of the town and country. The witches of Zagreb, was something I certainly didn't know about! The explanation of the Cathedral, the noon day gun, and of course the St. Marks square with its beautiful church. Josipa was a delight, and I would recommend anyone to do this walking tour to get to know Zagreb, before you start exploring the city on your own. Josipa, we looked for the "Witch from Gritch" beer , but no luck!!!!

Secret Zagreb Tours - A different kind of walking tour
I did both, the Ghosts & Dragons Walking Tour as well as the Zagrebarium tour. Both were super fun and our guide Iva was funny, helpful and knowledgeable at all times. It was a very fresh and distinguishable approach from the regular kind of walking tour (the resourceful costumes of Iva alone would give the tours a certain edge). Also, top-notch customer service: when there was a substantial downpour right before the tour started, Iva did not mind rescheduling or refunding. All in all, a very pleasant experience I can definitely recommend for everyone that wants to have an informative walking tour that is slightly different than the "regular" tours.

An amazing tour
The tour with Josipa was absolutely amazing. Her knowledge, combined with a super organized tour, made for a winning combination. The perspective of coffee culture was surprising for me, as I didn't realize how deep of a role coffee plays in Croatia. Josipa made the connections between coffee and Croatian history come alive. I have travelled to many places in the world and must say that Josipa's expertise and extremely pleasant manner stand out as one of the most excellent guides I have had. I highly recommend this tour as well as any others she might give.

Lake Bled and Ljubljana with a difference
A fabulous day for my cousin and I touring two of the highlights of Slovenia yesterday with Jakov! We couldn’t have asked for a better guide to spend the day with!! Jakov’s enthusiasm, humour, personalised attention, knowledge and story telling surpassed our expectations. He made sure the day was what we wanted combined with the best that these two places had to offer, providing information in both English and Croatian.
Thank you from Mare and Lisa for making our day a memorable one with lots of laughs!
Awesome day, one we’ll remember always! ❤️

Enjoyable afternoon!
My husband and I did not have much time to spend in Zagreb, so we decided to book this bike tour to see as much of the city as possible. It was a very enjoyable way to spend the afternoon! The cycling is not difficult. Our tour guide was very helpful and informative; we learned about the old and new history of the city, received excellent recommendations on places to eat and shop as well. It was an enjoyable tour and we look forward to returning to Zagreb to experience some of the historical sites for a longer period of time.

Personal, casual tour full of detail
This was a great tour we are so happy we found it as it totally enriched our experience in Zagreb. Josipa was a fun and very knowledgeable tour guide. Learning about the coffee culture feels so key to being in Croatia (and the place she took us to gave us some of the best coffee of our lives! We went back ourselves later). Additionally, she gave great suggestions for food. The tour we got was better than what we could have expected. We were talking about all the things we learned the rest of our time in zagreb!

Good introduction to Zagreb and Croatia
This is a great idea for a tour in this lovely city. Coffee is very important here. :) We had Turkish coffee made on hot sand. Josipa managed to also cover a good informative walk of the center of town, and was very open to questions of any nature. She also offered to answer questions anytime during our stay. I have not taken a tour since I was 14, yet have taken two in Zagreb, and they did not overlap at all. Both were creative and unique, just like Zagreb. Highly recommend!
