Our lovely adventure begins in the city centre. From here, we’ll visit the two small hills where present-day Zagreb was founded (don’t worry, you can always push your bike, and you won’t be alone in doing this!)
We’ll then stroll around part of the Green Horseshoe area and make a turn into completely different surroundings. You’ll witness the change in the blink of an eye!
After crossing the river we’ll enter the Balkan zone, safely cycling on designated bike lanes that were established long ago. We'll cruise through the "sleeping over" area of the city, pass the Contemporary Art Museum, and visit the shady and often very peaceful Bundek Park. New Zagreb is also the cradle of a lively Croatian contemporary art scene.
Cycling back over the bridge, you'll have one of the loveliest views of the city and will realise why Zagreb is so in love with its mountain.
This tour is a perfect introduction for first-time visitors and an ideal choice for families.
