I’ve created this specialised tour because drinking coffee is the most important social ritual for Croatians. When you visit Zagreb, you should experience it properly!

We’ll start with a visit to a roastery and coffee bar, where we’ll taste some of the best coffee in the city. You can choose from several different options, such as espresso, macchiato, Turkish coffee prepared on hot sand, decaf, or organic tea.

After a coffee and a chat, we’ll head to the city centre to explore some interesting sights. I’ll share stories that have shaped the soul of Zagreb today and tell you more about the local coffee culture. Yes, we do love our coffee!

We’ll end our tour in the Upper Town on the small hill where the history of Zagreb began. Don’t worry: it’s an easy walk that can be adjusted to suit all ages and health conditions.

During the tour, I’ll share plenty of recommendations for food, events, shopping spots, and other places worth visiting in Zagreb – a city with so much to offer!

Great tour!
Josipa was a well-informed and very likable guide. We got historical and current information about Zagreb's coffee history. And of course a wonderful coffee in a Zageber coffee roaster. An absolute recommendation!
Good introduction to Zagreb and Croatia
This is a great idea for a tour in this lovely city. Coffee is very important here. :) We had Turkish coffee made on hot sand. Josipa managed to also cover a good informative walk of the center of town, and was very open to questions of any nature. She also offered to answer questions anytime during our stay. I have not taken a tour since I was 14, yet have taken two in Zagreb, and they did not overlap at all. Both were creative and unique, just like Zagreb. Highly recommend!
Wonderful experience
Josipa was so great as a guide very informative and knowledgeable. Speaks very good english. Would recommend this tour starting with a coffee is very social and a great idea.
It was great to start the tour with a coffee and a lovely way to get to know each other a little bit. Josipa was super friendly and easy to connect with. She told us about many things and we really appreciated how comfortable and openly we could chat and learned a lot about Croatian history and culture. Then we went for a tour in the city again with lots of interesting stories and history. A great way to start a city trip in Zagreb!
Definitely Recommend!!!
I toured with Josipa, Her English was amazing and the tour was really informative - I learnt a lot more than I thought I was going to. I am a huge coffee lover and the Turkish coffee we had was delicious. It was fun learning about the history of coffee and Zagreb. I would really recommend this to someone who is looking for a personal touch to their tour. Josipa is lovely!

Excellent Guide
for Josipa
Josipa is knowledgeable and thoughtful in taking you around Zagreb. She gave us a real insight into the culture of the city which was just as valuable as seeing any particular sights. I recommended her to a friend who also had a great experience.
