I had a great day wandering around Novi Zagreb with Iva. Iva has a vast knowledge of her city and this tour took in a bit of everything - nature, architecture, art, history, urban planning and even astronomy! If you would like to have a day away from the more touristy parts of Zagreb, I highly recommend that you contact Iva and organise this trip!

Cross the river and discover the Novi Zagreb district

Learn about life and urban planning during the socialist era

Description

The grey socialist buildings in the Novi Zagreb district can seem ugly and intimidating at first glance. But, it’s actually the part of town where locals love to live. There’s so much space, and everything – from culture to nature – is within reach.

Let’s discover the true face of Zagreb together. I promise you’ll love the city even more after you take this tour.

You’ll see some great street art, some bridges, the biggest residential building in this part of Europe… Hey, we’ll even take you to see some planets and show you the border of Napoleon’s provinces!
