Tour will start with pick up at your accommodation in Zagreb and an hour drive towards Plesivica wine region.
Configuration of the terrain and the climate is ideal for the cultivation of grape vines therefore Plesivica region is home to some of the best wines in Croatia.
Passing through this beautiful countryside landscape we will stop in a local winery to taste premium wines and traditional homemade specials. Our visit will include a guided tour of the wine cellar accompanied by interesting stories of winegrowing tradition in this region.
Besides enjoying in wine tasting and beautiful landscapes of Nature Park Zumberak and the Samobor Highland we will have a short hike up to the ruins of 13th century Samobor Castle. Castle, once owned by the most famous Croatian noble families, today is just a beautiful picturesque ruin with amazing views.
At the end of our trip you will take a walk through the small town of Samobor - famous for its interesting culinary tradition and well-preserved 19th century charm.
