Hi, I am Jakov, Croatian 3/1 tour/local guide, professional driver and travel professional. Being a people person and very passionate about history and culture, I have always been aspiring for and pursuing new experiences. My greatest pleasure has always been travelling and exploring the world. I have been traveling in different countries getting to know their cultures for more than 15 years now. However, during past few years I have been working as a tour guide and a tour leader throughout Croatia and surrounding region which ultimately became my most favorite occupation. It has been a dream come true when I got the opportunity to pass on my knowledge and passion for my country with my dear guests from all over the world. Sharing the glory and the beauty of Croatia and our region with my future friends continues to be my greatest joy.

Description
The tour begins with a ride on the funicular, which connects downtown Zagreb with the Upper Town. Spanning just 66 metres, it’s the shortest of its kind in the world.
We’ll take a historical walk through the Upper Town, passing alleyways, monuments, charming palaces, and the famous St Mark’s Church. We’ll also visit the Museum of Broken Relationships.
Afterwards, we’ll walk downtown to visit the Zagreb Cathedral and Dolac, Croatia’s biggest farmers market. Here, you can experience the country’s gastronomic and cultural diversity. All of your senses will be magically activated! Unlike most markets, Dolac is open seven days a week.
We’ll then continue our walk, exploring the vibrant streets, parks, and squares of central Zagreb. You’ll have the opportunity to try out our favourite pastime: drinking coffee at one of the numerous street cafés in the city centre.
