The tour begins with a walk through the Grič tunnel which was built during World War II to serve as a bomb shelter. We then stop to admire the shortest and oldest funicular in the world.

You'll have a chance to see the colour and excitement of Dolac Market in the Upper Town - one of the oldest open markets in Zagreb. Your guide will tell you the story of 'Kumica' and explain how the women of the city have been taking part in this market tradition since the 1930s.
See one of the best-preserved monuments of old Zagreb, "Kamenita Vrata" (Stone Gates) and listen to the unusual stories behind the old walls.
We will then move on to St. Marko square and church where you'll hear about one of the most influential kings, peasant rebellions and many more fascinating facts from the past. Our last stop is Lotrščak Tower where you'll find out why they shoot cannon every day. You'll also have the chance to take pictures from the best viewpoint in the city!
