Even though Zagreb is gorgeous and beautiful during the day, you can not get that special feeling but at that very moment at dusk, when the sun sets in and the first lights come up. Who knows, you might again fall in love each other, or simply fall in love with Zagreb.
We start this romantic walking tour of Zagreb just when the gas lamps are being lit up. We meet up at Tomislav Sq. and walk towards Upper Town along the Park, then through Stone Doors. Upper Town contains the Presidential Palace, the iconic St Mark’s Church, the Croatian parliament and various museums and galleries which are all set in cobbled streets lit by gas lamps. Stroll along Tkalčićeva street, feel a local “flare” of street life in Zagreb.
We carry on to Kaptol, where the first Bishopry was founded thousand years ago. Visit Zagreb Cathedral and this lovely old settlement with its 25 canon's palaces. And...if you are not claustrofobic, I'll show you one of the hidden tunnels - Grič tunnel.
