Why locals love it
We stumbled across this restaurant while looking for a great place to work / learn. Indeed you will find several people here with their laptops. But the place which literally translates to "Herman's living room" has a lot more to offer. Great service and very affordable prices (compared to other restaurants in Zurich) make it worth the detour.
Why you should visit it
It's budget friendly without being "cheap". A nice place to relax and have a small meal or a nice breakfast. You can also stay at the hotel it belongs to.
Special tip
They have an "all you can drink" water option and you can even get free tap water (which is excellent here!). The lemon cake is delicious.
