Why locals love it
In-between a lounge and a bar, Milch Bar is a cozy, little place near the lake which I love to visit all year. During the weekends a DJ lubes the sociality of the bar goers with some techno music. Entry is completely free and drinks are more than reasonably cheap.
Why you should visit it
Bellevue is a block in a strategic position, in night time, for movements: just next to several tram stations and train station Stadelhofen, often locals hang out here during weekend nights, before going to clubs in Hardbrücke or Langstrasse. Milch Bar is then a perfect warm-up, since it's cheap but doesn't at all lack atmosphere.
Special tip
During the weekend, the earlier you get there, the better: swiss people go out drinking early, and the place can get quite packed.
