Description

Zurich has been inhabited for over 2000 years. I will take you on a trip around the old city center and show you various important and interesting places. From the location of an ancient Roman fort and bath to the way medieval houses (and sewers) were arranged to how Zurich was ruled by women for almost 700 years.
You will learn about some legendary figures and the places they are connected to.
My aim is to tell you about our history without bombarding you with too many dates and numbers. Rather I would like to give you an impression of what it was like to live here through the centuries - and also today.
We will typically only visit places that are free to enter.
