In the alternative scene there is couple of pubs, bars and clubs where the crowd is more relaxed, the music is more eclectic. Genres like D’n’B, dub step, indie-rock, funk, house, techno etc. are loved by young people. Quite a few bars/clubs offer live rock bands or soulful jazz playing.
Locally famous party organizers and dj’s K.U.B (Kaunas Urban Beats) are adored by young people here. They make at least one party a month at some random place.
