Why locals love it?

The Culture Kilometre is the closest thing northern Tallinn has to a promenade. The path sets off at the Tallinn City Hall (a huge concrete structure resembling a pyramid) and runs past an old power plant, the infamous Patarei prison fortress, the Kalamaja cemetery park and the Noblessner shipyard - places that are fun to visit, even for locals.

Why you should visit it

The 2.2 km walking trail offers cool views to the rundown seaside. Starting from the cruise dock it passes several interesting spots, including the Seaplane Harbour that lets you see a submarine, an ice-breaker and a military ship. The House of Estonian Design is also worth a visit with a couple of cafes nearby.

Special tip

It's definitely a good alternative to old town cobble stones.
