Why locals love it?

St Catherine's passage is a small medieval street with things on the... uh... nevermind, you'll love it. Here you'll find one of the most medieval looking alleys in the whole of Tallinn, complete with giant tombstones hanging on the walls. And lots of artisan shops, of course.

Why you should visit it

You'll get a true medieval experience in St Catherine's passage, but to find that place you need to be walking north on Vene street, while scanning the walls to your left for a small gateway. If you reach the Kloostri Ait restaurant, then you need to turn around and try again.

Beautiful little alleyway. The tombstones on the wall tell interesting stories of life in medieval Tallinn. The Italian restaurant on this street is extraordinary.
