We did 2 tours with those guys - the 'Breakfast and Acropolis Tour' and the 'Private Night Food Tour with Wine Tasting'. Both Eva and Elena provided fantastic tours that were fun, informative, and at a pace that was comfortable. The Greek breakfast before the Acropolis tour was a nice way to start the day and fill up before walking with Eva around the Plaka and the Acropolis hill. I couldn't imagine doing a tour of the Acropolis without a great guide to tell you the history and mythology of the ancient city. The food and wine tour with Elena was also a wonderful way to learn about Greek culture. Food stops were excellent and provided a good overview of common foods that the Greeks eat - some expected and many unexpected. Both Elena and Eva also sent post-tour emails to us on things to do in Athens and the islands we were going to be visiting on our trip - a nice follow-up touch that speaks to the quality of this company. Highly recommend a tour with them when visiting Athens.

Breakfast and the Acropolis
We had set up a tour that started with being met in our hotel in Plaka, walked a few blocks to Metro, road the incredibly nice subway one stop to arrive at a beautiful greek shop where we were served a lovely greek breakfast. (if anything, way too much food) After a great meal and sincere conversations, we met Marialena who then took us on a fascinating tour of the Acropolis and Acropolis Museum. The tour included an IPad based alternate reality feature which our daughter really loved. You always expect tour guides to be knowledgeable in their base subjects, but Marialena was far above any expectations. (later learned the is a trained archeologist). She brings incredible knowledge of Athens, The Acropolis and Museum, coupled with modern history, and even where all the shade on the Acropolis is. We would highly recommend this service and can't imagine you will find a better option.

Guided tour of the Acropolis
Our guide was incredible, the kids were amazed with the way she presented the history...it was like a story for them and we all really enjoyed it.
The iPad program made it all come alive.

We could not recommend this tour enough. It was fantastic. The 3D tablet view of the monuments really added an extra dimension to the experience. Our guide was an Archeologist. So smart and knowledgeable. Our children loved the tour.

We were delighted with our tour of the Acropolis and with our guide, Evita. After being disappointed a the “official” guides we hired at two other sites (Knossos in Crete and Pompeii in Italy) we decided to try booking a guide in advance. We have two boys age 11 and 14 and we wanted a guide that would engage them -- and us adults too. And we got it. Evita was fun, interesting, and informative. They boys (and my wife) rated her a 10 out of 10. She was really great at engaging the kids and asking them questions. So they felt involved. She used to be a teacher and it shows. The iPads with 3D views were a nice but optional addition to the tour. It still would have been good without them. Overall our trip to the Acropolis created memories that will last for ever.

Our guide was an invaluable part of our experience at the Acropolis. If it wasn’t for her, I would have been looking at a bunch of old white pillars that meant nothing to me. There was little to no signage to explain what you’re looking at. Marilena brought the monuments to life with stories of mythology and daily life in Ancient Greece. She had iPads with a cool program where you could point them at a site and it would show you what it would have looked like at the time. Really helped make sense of what you’re looking at. Our group was very mixed in background knowledge including a toddler, 10 year old, archaeologist, and adults with no background in Ancient Greece. Marilena kept everyone engaged the entire time. (With the exception of the toddler, but that’s to be expected. And she was always understanding when he was distracting or one of us needed to step away from the group. She was great with him and made us feel he was welcome and enjoyed- a trait we’ve found lacking in other tour guides when faced with a strong-willed toddler). I’d strongly recommend her to anyone. Marilena also recommended a couple amazing local restaurants that we wouldn't have known about. She came to dinner with us and helped us chose food and wine. She's such a wealth of local knowledge. We laughed together and learned from her expertise. I feel like I truly made a friend.
