Foodie Tour of Athens

The Eating Athens Food Tour was great! We did it on our first day in Athens and it really helped us get a sense of the local culture and flavors. George is extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. He made sure to explain the history behind the food, how each item is made and the culture significance. We had a great time and would definitely recommend!

We tried Eating Athens food tour with my wife and we truly enjoyed our time with the group. The tour was small enough to make it personal and for every one to get along and the food was amazing as was George's ability to bring the city alive to us. He was funny, warm and his passion for this neibourhood and Rome was contagious. We tried all the range. Salty to sweet . It was a 3.5 hour tour and we loved every minute. If you are going to Athens we recommend this tour. It is great value for money and you will eat well and learn so much about the culture, the people and the history.

George, our guide, was wonderful--very personable, friendly and knowledgable. We had a great time walking and tasting all sorts of Greek foods. Think we bought a little something at almost every stop! Olives, sun-dried tomatoes, cheeses...great food tour. Thanks, George!
