Duration 14 hours

Group tour pricing from 480 EUR per group
We got an early start from Athens and first went to Thermopylae. It was amazing to stand where the battle took place. Then we went to Meteora and visited the Varlaam Monastery. It’s an easy walk up about 50 stairs and you’ll be rewarded with amazing history and scenery. We stopped for a snack and coffee And then we were off to Delphi to look for the Oracle and see the archeological site. If you want to go all the way up to the athletic stadium, it’s well worth it, but be prepared for a bit of a hike. We drove through the very picturesque Arachova and also stopped at a WWII memorial where a horrible atrocity took place. To this day, there is still an annual tribute to those who perished. We then went back to Athens and had a delicious dinner at a local restaurant. I can’t recommend this tour highly enough. Theodore’s stories of Ancient Greece made the time pass so quickly. He can’t take you into the sites for a guided tour, but he thoroughly prepares you for what you’ll see and where to go once inside. Theodore will make your day an amazing experience!!
