Mariusz was a wonderful, knowledgable and experienced tour guide! Our half day tour of Barcelona provided us a great overview of the city and it was a perfect introduction on our first day. On another day we had the opportunity to go to Figueres and visit the Dali museum and to walk the streets of the nearby town of Girona. I highly recommend both tours, and especially with Mariusz!

Description

You’ll experience all of the different sensations that the cosmopolitan city of Barcelona has to offer.

Our guide will pick you up at your accommodation in a private vehicle and take you on a tour of Barcelona’s highlights.

First, you’ll admire the city’s skyline from Montjuïc Mountain. Next, you’ll head down the mountain to the waterfront, stopping at the charming Cathedral Square to admire the magnificent Gothic Cathedral. After checking out some Roman ruins, you’ll visit the impressive Jewish Quarter and the world-famous Gothic Quarter.

To show you the contrasting faces of Barcelona, your guide will drive you along the street with the most distinctive Catalan architecture, Passeig de Grácia. You’ll see some truly striking façades of private modernist buildings.

You’ll then drive through the typical streets of the Eixample district to an area that hides the Hospital de Sant Pau. Finally, you’ll go to Gaudí’s masterpiece, La Sagrada Familia. You might have seen some pictures, but no matter what, your first experience in front of this huge, beautiful building will leave you speechless.

Spectacular
This trip was well worth it. Away from the city you see amazing views of Catalunya. The salt mountain was spectacular, it's definitely worth seeing. My family loved every part of the trip. Our tour guide Mauriusz was very helpful and knowledgeable. They picked us up at our apartment and kindly dropped us off at the restaurant we were wanting to go to in the evening.

Cardona and Salt Mine Tour
Overall a great day! We specifically came to Barcelona to book a day trip to Cardona and Salt Mountain. Communication with the tour operator was excellent, they were very quick to respond and professional. Our tour guide was also professional and kind, arriving at the specified time (9am). He was also very accommodating asking about car seats for the kids, advising what parts may not be suitable for those who are less mobile, and helping out when some of the passengers got car sick. Unfortunately the day of our tour there were protests/strikes all over the state. Our driver did his best to go around it all to get to our destinations. We had to miss out on the salt mines and entering Cardona Castle. We were able to walk around the castle, but as i mentioned, we came to Barcelona specifically to visit Cardona, so this was a disappointment. No fault of the tour operator as the protests and strikes were not in their control. I was expecting a walking tour of the town of Cardona or maybe a bit more history of the Castle and town, but we didn’t get that. Instead of the Salt Mines we went to Monserrat, which was beautiful and a lovely replacement for the Salt Mines. We were brought back as close to our hotel as possible (due to the demonstrations), around 3:30 pm, so the tour was no where near 11 hours long (but again, mostly due to missing out on some attractions due to the strike). Overall, I would definitely recommend this tour operator, just keep the lines of communication open as per your expectations.

Fabulous tour to Cardona and Salt Mountain
We had the best small tour we have been on. From the pick up at our apartment to the drop off at the end of the tour, our guide Ruben was amazing. The tour he provided at the castle, the walk through the Village of Cardona and the trip through the Salt Mountain were informative and the scenery was breathtaking taking. I highly recommend Ruben and the entire company.
