Why locals love it
An old mansion built in 1843. In spite not being well known by tourists, for local people it surely represents an important cultural heritage. They appreciate its value and enjoy having walks around. Just behind the mansion you can find a protected landscape area of ‘Dunajské luhy’ where educational paths will guide you through native wetlands.

Why you should visit it
The mansion is located at a walking distance from three beautiful lakes in an ancient park full of very old trees. Unfortunately, the building has been neglected for several decades, it is now in a very poor state and needs to be reconstructed. A next time you will be in Bratislava it will maybe not exist anymore :(

Once you are in Rusovce, find the locally well-known ice cream spot.
