Unlike big movie theatre chains, the independent Kino Lumiere shows more than just new blockbusters. The movies change all the time, and you get to see new films, as well as old ones. It's a cinema with history and you can definitely feel that, once you've entered the building. There's also a nice cafe.
It's very very different to cinema chains, don't expect the sounds of popcorn chewing and coke slurping. All four screening rooms are relatively small, each having its own character. If you like good, (mainly) independent movies and want to get away from the tourist crowds, come to Lumiere, you'll love it!
Majority of the screenings cost 4.50 euros.
