Trnava 29 miles/45 km of Bratislava just 45 min. by train. In a short walk from the train station we enter directly the lovely pedestrian zone passing by the oldest church in the city, actual scale model of the city. You learn about the coat of arms of the city with hidden symbols, you decode the chronosticon of the city and you stand on the singular point you will see 5 churches from there.
If you wish - you may climb the 17th century City Tower offering a unique panoramic view seeing the mechanism of a clock that has been wound every day by five generations of the same family. And you will learn why the statue on the top faces both sides of the city. You will be told that Trnava locals sold the plans to Zeppelin to make the famous airship and here was invented also the first resonance Dobro guitar, patented later in USA.
Then you walk nearby of one of the oldest University complexes, visit the main church and a beautiful coffee house, which was once the orthodox synagogue. Before having a free time and going back to Bratislava by train (together with your guide), you get some recommendations where to eat and what else to see by yourself, according to your interests.
