Why locals love it

Locals go here at least once a month to soak up the ambience, smells and taste everything before they buy it. I go here for the colours, the sounds and when I really feel like getting some fresh produce at the best price.

Why you should visit it

If you want to experience the true spirit of Brussels, the Sunday market by Midi Station is a must on your itinerary. If you don't enjoy crowds, I don't think this will be the greatest place for you. Although... If you go with a local, he'll be able to take you to a quiet corner and haggle some prices with you.

Special tip

Eat Morrocan crepes! Often copied, never matched is the stand behind 2 fish shops. Get one with honey and cheese, with a glass of piping hot mint tea!

If you can bargain and you want some well priced fresh goods. It is a standard market for practical things like food and fabrics.
