Why locals love it
Fire Club is one of the oldest clubs in the Old City and a pioneer of Bucharest’s rock scene. It was founded at the beginning of the 2000s to support new local alternative and rock bands. Almost all popular local bands started out performing in front of Fire Club’s audience. Nowadays the club exists as a pub as well as a concert venue.

Why you should visit it
In recent years the Old City has become the heart of Bucharest’s nightlife scene. Every evening this well-loved hot spot fills up with alternative and rock music fans. The atmosphere gets livelier as the weekend approaches, but it peaks on Thursdays which is traditionally student night.

Fire Club is also one of the best places to watch live sports. Football is king here!
