Why locals love it

The “Passe-Partout” theatre company was established in 1999 by Dan Puric, one of Romania’s most beloved stage actors. He is also a great pantomime actor and tap dancer. The young actors he trained as part of this project are wonderfully talented and resourceful and perform in shows written by themselves.

Why you should visit it

Don’t worry if you don’t know the language, as no Romanian word is spoken on stage! The authors-actors have created a unique combination of performing arts (pantomime, tap dance, tango, flamenco, ballet, martial arts) to tell universal stories about man and woman, about love and life. Some of their shows are interactive and children will love them.

Special tip

Check the playbills in front of the theater to see what’s on. Ask for an edge seat if you want to be invited by actors to join them on stage!
