On our way to Sinaia, a small resort town in the Carpathian Mountains, we’ll pass through the scenic Prahova Valley – Romania’s key destination for winter sports lovers.
The first stop on the tour is the splendid Peleș Castle, which was built by the first king of Romania, Carol I of Hohenzollern. We’ll then visit one of the most famous castles in the world – Bran Castle, also known as Dracula’s Castle.
Afterwards, we’ll continue on to the city of Brașov, which is a popular tourist destination in Romania. It was founded by Teutonic Knights in 1211 and exudes a distinct medieval ambience. Walking through the Council Square, we’ll reach the Old Town Hall in the heart of the city. We’ll then visit the Black Church – the biggest religious building of its kind between Vienna and Istanbul.
