It’s more a winter choice not just because it’s a great feeling to watch the snow outside from a warm Jacuzzi, but mainly as this spa doesn’t have any outside pools. But apart from the cheap price, the fact that (opposed to many other spas) men and women can visit it together every day makes it a good choice for groups and couples.
Entering the 16th century building you really feel like you travelled 500 years back in time, and half expect people in turbans to emerge from one of the steamy corners. Soaking in the 30 C+ degree pools or enjoying the steam room while looking at the rays of sunshine coming through a tiny window in the Turkish-style dome is truly relaxing.
Ideal for those who can’t stand the crowd or would like to experience the famous Budapest spas but looking for a cheaper option.
