The sheer brillance of this space is stunning. This was the life's work of architect Milos Ybl. It has seen the greatest music directors. The outside facade of the Opera house gives off a music box quality and when opened it sings. Opera lives here and the architecture and design make it magnificent.
Why you should visit it
It's an incredible sight to behold. There is even a Royal Box in the middle of the seating, three floors off the ground. The main staircase and the foyer illustrate the elegance that attending an opera had and still possesses.

Check out the murals, the chandelier and of course central stage.
