Ooo not enough locals know about it yet but those that do just find reasons to walk by this charming alley. Yes I said it, a charming alley. This coffee shop is smushed in between two other downtown Chicago establishments and the only thing brightening it up are the lanterns hanging crisscrossed above and the huge lit coffee sign. Very romantic!
Why you should visit it
It resembles a European cafe in the urban, American, downtown Chicago. The coffee is high quality and roasted by one of the Midwests more famous roasters, Jason. I hear people purposely book to watch him roast coffee. Wow can't wait to meet him. This place only meant to bring special people to.
Special tip
Come at opening. It is lovely early in the morning. Get their drip coffee and get it bold! Say hi to the charismatic Jake for us.
