Why locals love it
The coffee - that's a start. Their coffee is rich, creamy, and smooth. For someone sm who swears by darker roasts, I will gladly give those up for this every morning. The food - great flavors, decent sized servings, and the tomatillo salsa goes well with nearly everything!
Why you should visit it
If you're looking for a not so mainstream brunch (i.e. Bars that turn into brunch places for the sake of being a brunch place), go here. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is lively and perfect for a relaxing weekend brunch.
Special tip
My go-to is the bistec con huevos. I can't turn down steak and eggs with a side of rice and tortillas. And omg cafe con leche and salsa!!!
