Why locals love it
Skating by the Bean is cozy but also has a big city feel. There is a restaurant you can stop by to get something to eat/drink if needed but it's expensive and I recommend just coming here for the skating, music, company, and view.
Why you should visit it
You should come for the experience! It's great getting out in the winter in a space like this. The view is great and you really feel like you are getting a Chicago experience. This is a great place to bring kids.
Special tip
Get here early if you want to have plenty of room to practice if you are an inexperience skater
