From New York, LA, DC, cities with their famous center-filled cupcake places making waves and opening stores across the country, there is one local bakery in Chicago that locals who have left always come back to and that is Molly's.
Why you should visit it
It is a local favorite, your Chicago friends will tell you about it if they know a thing or two about local gems. It is one of my two best cupcake places in the world. They have a really good Red Velvet Mini Cupcake that can compete with other good RVCs around the world.
Special tip
Oder CREME BRULEE, sit in and play a board game, or order the maximum number of cupcakes per person to go and treat your friends. They will love you!
