Tour by Veaceslav

I graduated from the Faculty of Tourism at the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova and have worked for 2 years as a tourism manager in local travel agencies. But I soon decided to pursue a career as a Tour Guide to combine my profession with my passion: traveling and outdoor, because I am not a follower of office work. This led me to study to obtain a license as a travel guide.

Check availability of the tour:

The trip to Transnistria starts with the transfer from your accommodation in Chisinau to Tiraspol by a private vehicle. Visiting Transnistria is like traveling on a time machine – not much has changed there since the end of the 20th century. The cities of Bender and Tiraspol, keep many soviet monuments, with a specific architecture.

Old-fashioned public transport, a lot of monuments to Lenin and Soviet symbolism on the buildings, all make a tour to Transnistria a different experience. Your local guide will tell you about the current political situation of the country and show you all the most important attractions of Tiraspol, as the capital of the unrecognized country.

Then you will travel to the city of Bender and discover its famous sight, Fortress of Tighina, built in the 16th century. Medieval Bender Fortress played a significant role in the Russian-Turkish War in the 18-19th centuries. You will enjoy a spectacular view of the Dniester River from the high fortress’s walls. Later, in your free time, you may have lunch at one of the city’s cafes.

Great tour of a fascinating place.
A must-see if visiting Moldova or even next-door Ukraine. Veaceslav is a friendly, knowledgeable, laid-back, professional guide who makes your tour fun, interesting, and memorable. Recommended! Veaceslav also went out of his way to help me reserve my PCR test appointment for my flight the following day. FYI, if you need a PCR test, you should use Alfa Diagnostics, which has a counter at the airport for 24/7 tests or to print out your report if test performed at one of their several clinics around Chisinau.
nice tour
was a nice tour, we visited historical places in the area of Transnistria.
after that visited the capital, we got to know the country from closer view.
everything went good and smoothly. good experience.
recommended guide.
Awesome experience
I had a really good experience visiting Transnistria with Veaceslav. I came alone to Chisinau from Bucarest to visit this country, As it was sometimes described as a dangerous place on the Internet, I felt way more confident visiting it with a local.
Finally, it turned out to be a pretty safe and peaceful place ! But it is still the "sovietic style" place I'd expected it to be.
Veaceslav is an excellent guide, he knows everything there's to know about the country : traditions, politics, economy, hitsory, … I definitely recommend !

Great Day at 2 Moldovan Wineries
Insightful and fun tour
Veaceslav was on time and the tour I went to provided a lot of insight into Moldovan culture. Even though one of the wine tours was cut short due to a technical problem, I highly recommend the wine tour as it was great fun and informative! :)
Great mix of experience
for Veaceslav’s tour (Discover Old Orhei)
In this trip we enjoyed professional guide of a very friendly local. He showed us great views, churches, rural life, historical sites. We even had some de-tours to eat walnuts growing in Moldova:) And of course, Old Orhei is a must-see if you are visiting Moldova!
