I graduated from the Faculty of Tourism at the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova and have worked for 2 years as a tourism manager in local travel agencies. But I soon decided to pursue a career as a Tour Guide to combine my profession with my passion: traveling and outdoor, because I am not a follower of office work. This led me to study to obtain a license as a travel guide.

Description
The trip to Transnistria starts with the transfer from your accommodation in Chisinau to Tiraspol by a private vehicle. Visiting Transnistria is like traveling on a time machine – not much has changed there since the end of the 20th century. The cities of Bender and Tiraspol, keep many soviet monuments, with a specific architecture.
Old-fashioned public transport, a lot of monuments to Lenin and Soviet symbolism on the buildings, all make a tour to Transnistria a different experience. Your local guide will tell you about the current political situation of the country and show you all the most important attractions of Tiraspol, as the capital of the unrecognized country.
Then you will travel to the city of Bender and discover its famous sight, Fortress of Tighina, built in the 16th century. Medieval Bender Fortress played a significant role in the Russian-Turkish War in the 18-19th centuries. You will enjoy a spectacular view of the Dniester River from the high fortress’s walls. Later, in your free time, you may have lunch at one of the city’s cafes.

Finally, it turned out to be a pretty safe and peaceful place ! But it is still the "sovietic style" place I'd expected it to be.
Veaceslav is an excellent guide, he knows everything there's to know about the country : traditions, politics, economy, hitsory, … I definitely recommend !
