Why you should visit it
Tai O, the Venice of Hong Kong. It is home to the Tanka people, a community of fisher folk who’ve built their houses on stilts above the tidal flats of Lantau Island. There is a local specialty market in the village. If you want to explore the nature of Tai O, you should spend around an hour to Man Cheung Po which a famous stream in Hong Kong.
Special tip
It is nice to hike there but can no longer available to swim as swimmers will pollute the drinking water of Yi O village residents.
