One of the Hong Kong oldest Temples and declared monument, atmospheric Man Mo Temple is dedicated to the gods of literature (Man) and of war (Mo). Built in 1847 during the Qing dynasty by wealthy Chinese merchants.

Why you should visit it

A visit to Man Mo Temple is highly advised, and if you only intend to visit one temple in Hong Kong, most people choose this one. This does mean it can be quite busy at times, but the experience is no less impressive.

Special tip

In temple, you can shake the canister, tilting it slightly, until a stick with no. fall out. Fortune teller can interpret the stick for you.
