Why locals love it

This pub represents something very unique for the Madrilenians. It was opened in the late 70's and it was one of the first places that combined a bar and a pub at the same time (known in Spanish as 'bar de copas'). During the Madrilenian scene ('La movida Madrileña') it was a reference for young people and lot of bands were often at the local.

Why you should visit it

Nowadays is still very famous, reminding this old days with its music (mostly 80's and early 90's). It has marked a milestone because what the Madrilenian scene meant. So if you're an 80's rock / pop music lover and wanna listen how Spanish music (and some international too) sounded those days, it worths to visit it!

Special tip

Antonio Vega's song La chica de ayer mentions the bar. It's become a reference for this place & it's the last song they play everynight before closing
