Of all Madrids palaces, this is by far the coolest - literally. Known as the Ice Palace, this entertainment-complex is a very popular destination for local families, as it's one of the only place to go iceskating indoors in Madrid. Other than the ice rink, the complex includes a cinema, a bowling alley and lots of shops and restaurants.
The ice rink is open from mid-September to the end of May, and if you love skating or travel with kids, this is a great chance for some active entertainment. The arena is used for figure skating classes and curling as well as public skating, and is directly connected with the shopping-complex. Skates can be rented in the rink.
After skating you can enjoy a cup of hot chocolate in the cafeteria overlooking the ice.
