In the summer of 1410, the forces of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania (not present day Lithuania, but a large and powerful state that included Belarus, Lithuania and Ukraine) and the Polish kingdom defeated the Teutonic Order. It was a historical event that marked the end of constant wars with the "knights of the black cross".
