You won’t regret taking a guided tour of the central palace, and the Grotto (a unique Russian building) is worth visiting especially in summer when you can feel its cooling effect. You’re allowed to lay on the lawn by the pond, and you can also rent a boat.
Tickets cost around RUB 50 including entrance to the museums. Closed one Wednesday a month.
