Day 1: The Red Square and the Kremlin
We’ll explore the cradle of Russian history and culture, and track the development of Moscow. The residence of Dukes, Tsars, Emperors, Supreme leaders, and Presidents will surprise you with its cathedrals, Tsar Cannon, and Tsar Bell, as well as its Armoury.
Highlights: The Resurrection Gate, Lobnoe Mesto (place of executions and proclamations), the Kazan Cathedral, the State Historical Museum, GUM, Saint Basil's Cathedral, Lenin's Mausoleum, and the Kremlin.
Day 2: The Kitay-gorod district
Besides the Kremlin, Kitay-gorod is the oldest part of Moscow. It emerged in the 14th century due to the expansion of the Kremlin’s boundaries.
Highlights: There are 4 monasteries, 24 churches and cathedrals, and 8 chapels in the Kitay-gorod district. We’ll see some of them.
Day 3: Art, architecture, and culture tour
Highlights: The Tretyakov Gallery, the Zamoskvorechye district, street art, and the best coffee in town – the ultimate cultural experience in Moscow!
