Normally there is always something hectic about airports. Between Terminal 1 and 2 at Munich Airport you can find this place locals would describe with "Bavarian coziness". For many locals who come back home after their travels it is a ritual to have their first Bavarian beer and meal here.

Beer brewed in their own brewery, good and fair-priced Bavarian food, a great location for people watching (especially outside in the beer garden) and it is almost impossible to miss your flight from there - except you have too much to drink.

Try the self-made beer and if you are 2 or more people the "Überschall" platter might serve your needs.
