Why you should visit it
Strandbad Seewinkel is a rare thing in Germany - a nice public beach. It has plenty of space for the public to lay out their picnic blankets and set up, a restaurant/concessions stand, and a pier with a diving/jumping platform. A short 45-min train ride from Munich, and then a 10-min walk to the park - this spot is a perfect day trip!
Special tip
Bring enough stuff for a little picnic and spend the day on the water. Head to a supermarket and load up on everything to save some $$$!
