We love history and we love beer, so we decided to put them together. We figured what better way to learn about Munich’s history than to combine it with a little bit of local culture!
After meeting your guide by the Fish Fountain on Marienplatz, you’ll be given a descriptive introduction to Munich, lasting roughly 15 minutes. You’ll also receive half a litre of cold, locally brewed beer to enjoy during the tour.
While walking Munich’s streets, stopping at all of the major highlights along the route, you’ll get an insight into the last 1000 years of the city's history. Important information about the Third Reich and Hitler's rise to power, which began here in Munich, will of course be included.
You’ll also stop briefly in the English Garden to see the river surfers, take a pleasant stroll along the Isar River, and visit a fantastic place to watch the sun set over the city.
The tour conveniently ends at the world-famous Hofbräuhaus, so you can enjoy more of Munich’s great beer culture.
Beer will also be available for purchase from your guide.
Please note that this isn’t a pub crawl.
