Munich Food Tour: More Than Viktualienmarkt

This tour is a MUST for all food lovers visiting Munich. So much fun! The group size wasn’t too big, the food was delicious and our guide Christoph was highly knowledgable and spoke perfect English. My boyfriend and I were so impressed that we booked the Salzburg food tour with them the following day!

We were on our way to Neuschwanstein Castle, when my thoughtful husband had the idea to treat us, my foodie daughter and my very foodie-self to a Food tour in Munich ! I was a bit sceptical at first because, frankly, I did not think much of German food but... It all changed when we met Katrina; her obvious enthusiasm and love for her city and its food, was contagious! She took us on a whirlwind tour through a market, a beer garden and an ice cream store, to name but a few of the remarkable places that we visited, making sure that our bellies were full, and our minds both entertained and stimulated! It was not an easy task to keep us all happy, but my meat loving husband, my carbs happy daughter and my beer-experimental self, we all found this tour an absolute delight!! Thank you Katrina for opening our eyes to Munich's food scene!!

Me and my husband had a great time with Katrina who was so full of knowledge about Munich! She took us to several food places where we learnt about specialties of the city which we would have not known otherwise, and we had beer as well. We enjoyed all of it and our bellies were so full at the end of the tour!! Thank you, Katrina, for our tour together, certainly a highlight of our trip!!
