Nai Nami is a Storytelling tour taking place in the heart of Nairobi Downtown in the city centre (not slum!). Your guides are school drop-outs and former street children who raised themselves at an early age in those streets.
During a 3-hour walking tour in the city centre, your personal guides will make you experience their so-called former “home” and share with you their captivating life stories connected to the places you visit. They will tell you how they ended up in the streets, show you how they survived, teach you their street skills, give you the real local insights and inspire you with their ghetto-energy.
Even more important, they will share with you how they transformed to reasonable young men, how they look back on their former lifestyle and how they are nowadays trying to improve the situation of their families and friends. We will have max. two guests per guide to facilitate an inspiring exchange.
