Why locals love it
Although it’s located on one of the busiest streets in Naples, once you’re inside the Botanical Garden you’ll feel as if you’re in a fairy tale. With all kinds of plants and trees (including crops used in the medical sector), total peace and impeccable presentation, it’s one of the jewels of the city.
Why you should visit it
The surrounding area is quite run down, but don’t let that influence your decision to enter. You’ll find a few greenhouses, a fantastic variety of tropical plants and other very rare species that you probably won’t see anywhere else.
Special tip
In summer, concerts and other nice events are held here. Everything is more impressive in the moonlight! Reservations are required.
