A natural spring fills this outdoor pool on the western end of Thomazeau. On any given day you might find children swimming, women and girls doing laundry, and a gaggle of young men sitting around the concrete picnic benches drinking beer and playing checkers. The pool itself has a concrete outer rim with moss-covered steps down on two sides.

This outdoor plaza features the natural spring pool as it's main attraction but to the side there are also changing rooms and a series of concrete picnic tables for lunch or impromptu parties. The pool has a rocky bottom with small fish inside. Watch for glass! Children enjoy jumping off the large tree stump into the not-so-deep end.
Buy a lunch plate in town before you get to the spring, otherwise you have to travel for another five minutes by car (veer to the left) for food.
